Schultz, Irene (Marriage - June 16, 1931)

Kalepp - Schultz

Miss Irene Schultz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Schultz of Abbotsford and William Kalepp, son of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Kalepp of Dorchester, were united in marriage at the Christ Lutheran church in Abbotsford, Tuesday, June, 16 1931, at 1:30 in the afternoon. The Rev. J. Brandt, pastor, tying the nuptial knot.

The couple were attended by Adelyn Hoeft, Marie Weideman, Lucille Bunnell and Harry Schultz of Abbotsford, an Clarence and Harold Kalepp of Dorchester, Wis.

The bride was dressed in white satin and a veil and carried pink roses and ferns. The Bridesmaids wore pink crepe dresses and carried pink roses.

A reception at the home of the brides parents followed the ceremony at which about ninety guests were present. Those from away were Mr. and Mrs. Otto Sauter and daughter of Phillips, Mr. and Mrs. A. Messer of Unity, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Hermanson and daughter of Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hermanson and daughter, Mrs. Tillie Georges and family of Spencer, Mr. and Mrs. Jess Drost and family of Medford and Mrs. Mary Lueddecke of Athens.

The bride and groom have both grown to maturity in this vicinity and are both very highly respected being might find young people and have the well wished of the entire community in wishing them a long and happy married life.

The newly weds left Tuesday on a wedding trip to Green Bay and other places of interest in that part of the state and will be at home after July 1st at the home of the brides parents just east of Abbotsford, Wis.
